Art shows and the haps for this, the glorious month of August!
Shows:
Townshend's Tea House NE 23rd and Alberta St.-- This is a super snuggy, earthy, tea apothecary, they have jars and jars of fragrant tea mixtures that are just too light and lovely for my bulbous words to describe... I actually can not wait to get my paintings back from this place, only because they are going to smell so good.
"Someday" at Townshend's and on my website www.robincarlisle.com
Also still showing at the downtown Marriott Hotel on SW Broadway.
"Peace Please" at the Marriott and on my website www.robincarlise.com
And you can see the lovely little houses at The Children's Exchange on SE Division.
Coming up:
I have in the works a brand new series I call my "Salt" series which will debut at The Albina Press on Hawthorne in September. I am so excited about this new work because, for a.) I am loving the process! (as well as the outcome) And for b.) They are so different then my past series' . These newbies are more abstract then ever before and way more sassy then my usual sweetness. They are slightly edgy and definitely?... Salty--that is pretty much all I can say for now about that... You will just have to come check um out!
So that is it for business...
On to Fam:
Here is Ree, Billy and I truckin' down the Trucky River
We just got back from Lake Tahoe--The flippin' Bluest place on the planet! We joined my family (favorite people on the planet) in a three story house with an amazing lake view, for 10 days of awesomeness. We ate too much food (or at least I did--that is just how I roley-poley on vacation), and laughed our aching belly's into stitches. Played games, read books, and swam in that gorgeous water all day long. It was just so beautiful and amazingly relaxing and revitalizing! Thank you to my family for such heart filling trip!
I love and miss your guts already!
Lots more life happening all around me in an endless magic frenzy so I will just wrap it up by saying...
Life is so good!... SO GOOD!
And Thank You For It!
